9 months old

Today Olivia turned 9 months old. She did nothing out of the ordinary...went to church, watched football, played outside in the grass, crawled non-stop throughout the family room and kitchen at the house....when they said that the "honeymoon" was over....they meant it. Even so, I'm loving EVERY minute of it ALL!

Being a parent is something I always wanted to be, and even being a mother for only 9 months I feel like I've been doing it a lifetime. I can't even remember when she was as small as she was when she was born. And to think I have a good memory. I can't remember anything from the first month or two of her life....maybe that has something to do with the amazing pain killers I was on...but who knows?!

Well, as an update...here are some pics of the little peach:

Good ol' July

It's almost the end of July, which means....MELISSA'S birthday!!! I'm going to be a whoppin' 24 years old and am still trying to figure out what I want for my birthday...so don't anyone go asking me about it! I'm about to just say nothing...does that work for everyone?

I started my new job on the 9th and it is going very well so far. I'm pretty much only doing data entry and phone calls with a lot of number pushing on the fax machine, but the pay check is there and all is good about that.

Olivia now has TWO front teeth. The second tooth has popped up just next to the other one she had and I didn't realize it was there until Jack pointed it out to me. It's pretty neat to know just how much she is growing and to see how big she is getting. Brett (my brother) even said "She is getting SO big, you know," and I just said..."It's kinda hard to believe." I still remember bringing her home from the hospital, so looking at her now, she's a BEAST! But still just as cute, if not cuter, and she is definately the "cutest baby in the world," as my dad would say!

I hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer months.

Until later...

Can you believe it? Olivia is 6 months old! Time has been flying by...

On the 4th we noticed a little bump on her gums and yesterday her first "toof" popped out to say "HELLO". It's little, sharp, and white...just how we like them! It's so fun to see how everyday she changes a little bit more. It is her front, left, bottom tooth...for those of you that want to keep track!

Jack's mom and sister are coming into town tonight until Wednesday afternoon, so we're definately looking forward to seeing them. Even though I have to work all week, I'll be spending all my free time with them. I can't wait!

Until later...

Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and catch up on our little family!

Olivia Kay was born to us on January 7th, 2007 at 7 lbs 12.5 ounces and 19.75 inches long. She has been an extreme joy and happy and healty baby since that day.

Daddy (Jack) and me met in 1998 at a convention in Peoria, Illinois and remained friends over a 6 hour distance and many phone calls and emails. In 2005 he was deployed over seas and it managed to make our friendship stronger and upon his return to the states, we decided that being friends just wasn't enough....and 12 months later we had our daughter.

We are currently living in Woodstock, IL and plan to remain here for some time, and have family all over northern IN, Southern IL, WI, and in many other places throughout the country, and our family is definately our #1 priority. Both of us are currently working Full Time in search of the burried treasure in our lives that suits us to where we want to be in life that fulfills our dreams and goals. But the family that we have and the love that we share between us three, remains through it all.

We are the Fouts Family, and welcome to our humble 'net' home!
