HALLOWEEN!!!

Now that the weather is getting colder, the time for tomato soup and grilled cheese has arrived...Olivia had her first experience! She LOVED to dip her sandwich in the soup!

...and as you can see, it was DELICIOUS!!!

For Halloween Olivia was the most beautiful Unicorn!

We went down to the Nursing home in the morning to visit Aunt Sissy and to see the Halloween Parade that the day care does every year bringing the kids up through the halls with costumes. Olivia LOVED seeing all those kids!

Olivia went trick-or-treating tonight for the first time being able to actually say, "TRICK OR TREAT" and she scored pretty well in the candy department...and everyone LOVED her costume (Thanks to Corby - Jack's Mom, we've had it since before Olivia was born.)

Jack got home at an unruly hour this morning from work so I decided that since he was still awake and she was dressed that they needed to have a picture together. With the hectic schedule he has been working lately, I'm glad that he had the opportunity to see our little Unicorn!

We carved a pumpkin last weekend, too, but that'll have to be another post...

You can't ever go wrong with a
BEAUTIFUL 85 degree Saturday in October.

We decided that since there was a Pumpkin Patch about 1/2 mile down the road, that we should go check it out! Olivia had a BLAST!!

Those pumpkins
were bigger than her!!!

Olivia is almost 2...only a few more months to go now...I can't believe how much time has flown by!!!

September is HERE!!!

As the weather is finally starting to change to the PERFECTION of temperatures I wait for every year, I have started to work my way around Olivia's room to seperate clothes that don't fit from clothes that do...clothes that she MIGHT be able to wear next spring/summer vs clothes that are finally going to be retired to a large container at the bottom of her never ending closet.

However, during this journey into the never land of her closet, I came across some articles of clothing that, unfortunately, she never had the opportunity to wear, so I decided to make one of them special above the rest! It's amazing how beautiful a simple white dress with a light pink ribbon at the waist can make my baby girl look so incredibly beautiful...

ENJOY!

I'm working on getting some prints made...so some of you may be recieving pictures soon!!

XOXOXOXOX

19 months and goin strong...

Olivia with GRANDMA BEAR
from the Hwy-X Darby cabin.
Grandma Darby gave me this original Care Bear,
from 1983, when they moved back to Illinois!
Thanks Grandma!!!
It's still getting lots of LoVe!!!

From start to finish...the month has really only began. We've been busy with work and life but doing our best to keep up with every moment. I've decided to start taking more pictures of Olivia, again, and to do my best to update this blog at least once a week so nobody misses out on anything. Hopefully I keep this promise to myself. LOL

Liv and her Aunt Ashley gigglin' on the couch

Olivia is 19 months old now and running around like crazy. Saying so many words that it's getting ridiculous enough that we seem to hear a new one every day. It's unbelieveable to see how much she changes overnight.

She loves to ride around in the backyard in her "RADIO FLYER" that Papa G got her in the Spring. She really enjoys trying to get it movin' on her own, too...her favorite thing to do these days is "HELP" and she thinks that she can make things go on her own, even though they take a second person's assistance.

Her biggest word is "NO", as it is probably for most at this age, but she really lets us know when she's thirsty by saying "MILK" and when she's really gettin' sleepy by saying "NIGHT NIGHT" as a cue. So we're all learning together. On top of everything else, we're starting to introduce potty training into the mix. We have bought a potty, but she's much more interested in taking it apart and standing in it, than actually sitting on it...guess we'll see how is unfolds.

Will post more soon....

XOXOXOXOX

Almost 18 months and going STRONG!

SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!!!!
Olivia and me went to the park and played like crazy!
Grandma (Kay) thought she'd be ahead of the game
and buy Olivia a potty seat...
which Olivia decided looked better
as a necklace, of course! Spaghetti anyone???
She'll eat more of this than ANY other food!

On June 9th Olivia, Melissa, and Aunt Ashley and her friend Whitney, who we call DUCK,

went to the Indianapolis Zoo!

Olivia looked VERY excited in her big girl car seat!Olivia fed a giraffe a little snack for $1
and...

she pet a shark, too!

At the end of April we moved from Woodstock to Lawrenceville...from one end of the state to another. Please get in touch if you'd like our new address. We are still adjusting a little bit down here but working and making a name for ourself even through all the tough times that have been happening down here recently with all the flooding. I am going to get down to the river with my camera soon to get some shots and get them uploaded onto the computer to share them with you all! Love and miss everyone and can't wait to see you all soon!!

With one year at it's end of her life, it's amazing to reflect on all things OLIVIA over the past year. But now comes the time to look forward to what is coming and what is now...

On her first birthday she took 5 steps, and has occassionally walked a few steps here and there...nothing official yet! I'll let ya know....

Grandma and Grandpa are in FL for 5 weeks and miss her terribly...so any pictures I put up on here, that just might make my dad or mom cry, are for their sake!! Hopefully everyone ejoys!!!
